Welcome to my latest blog, The Italian Gluten Gal. I can't believe I have to go gluten free. Wait...how can that be? How can an Italian be gluten free? Doesn't it go against our very nature? For a person who truly enjoys eating, this has been an interesting roller coaster of emotions since hearing the words "You have Celiac Sprue."
The point of this blog is to do what Joey's Hope has done for me and the many that I have touched: give information and hope to the newly diagnosed, as we embark on this journey together. It also serves as an outlet for me, so I can journal my feelings and all the findings that I gather on this road to being a gluten free Italian.
